What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
Currently, native comments are disabled on our site. We use Facebook commenting instead. However should we choose to re-enable them, the following will apply:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
User-generated content via forms
There are several user-fillable forms our our site, including but not limited to: The Ordination Form, The Prayer Form and the FAQ form. We collect and save any data you provide on our servers in order to maintain a database of ordained ministers and to keep a record of correspondence. Should you choose to have this data deleted, you can send a request via
re*****@du*****.com
. Bear in mind that if you choose to have your ordination form data removed, you will automatically be de-ordained.
We also have image generating features on our site that allow you to upload images and add text that are then displayed on pages that are publicly accessible. You can request for an image to be removed by sending us the link to the generated page.
