Anyone hear old enough to remember Star Lost?
They didn't spend very much on sets of FX, but the stories were good.

Ok,I am going to keep rolling on this thread...
Another Sci-Fi flick that I like is Ultraviolet.
Since I posted before, saying that I really liked The 5th Element,I think that you dudes can see right through me....I am quite a big fan of Milla Jovovich!
I like anything with her in it,and I will go out on a limb here, and state publicly, that in my humble opinion.EVERY SINGLE MOVIE EVER MADE SHOULD STAR Milla Jovovich!
Am I wrong?..Am I wrong?
The Big Lebowski could have been even better,if Milla had played the part of Maude...,but,thats like, just my opinion, man.

What have you done Biker Dude!?

I seen you posted the link to the film.....so here I am at 02.22 with "Benson Arizona" ringing in my ears!

Yeah I just watched the whole thing again.... :) :)

Fabulous dude...just fabulous! :)

Just amazing isn't it!
I sat through the whole thing Gobsmacked.
And watched it again later to see if it really was as odd as I thought.
It was.

Also try THX 1138 (a similar student style project from George Lucas)

Great flick; early Lucus at it's best. Reminds you a lot of 1984 and Logan's Run. Also, Logan's Run is a great sci-fi flick.

Yeah Logan's Run is amazing.
The style. Pure cheese. A product of the age of Disco.

How about Quintet? Another from the same era.
You have to wonder how they convinced Paul Newman to star in that.

Logans run they should just leave alone. It's a beautiful product of it's time.

They don't understand that Sci-Fi is actually about the time it's written/filmed in it's not really an attempt to predict the future.

There was me thinking you were a Luc Beson fan (I am, but not intentionally, I was looking through my film collection and realised I have a lot of his films without intentionally looking for his films)

How about one of my own "special" favourites Star Cops (by the same writter as Blakes Seven). It's clunky and a bit racist and terribly eighties, but I like it

The premiss looks fantastic, the reviews tend to suggest it didn't come up to expectations.

Soylent Green....'nuff said!

Don't eat the Soylent green!

Actually I'm reading the original book at the moment. A reprint in a sci-fi classics series. A lot less misogyny.

Man, she looks great, period. 100% electronic beauty.

I haven't seen anyone mention the iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey yet.

And now I have to be a cleft asshole. <obnoxious smirky twittering laugh>
Who here has seen <obnoxious smirky twittering laugh>

ZARDOZ!

Sean Connery as 'Zed', complete with red nappies, bandoleer with cartridges that don't fit his weird semi-auto revolver, and go-go boots, MAN!

<uncontrollable obnoxious smirky twittering laughter>
