It is an open site and shows the raw data in real time...for those who can bother to try and understand it.

In actual fact the spiral was found to be a Rusian  Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile. which was test fired from a submarine in the White sea. See Here:

Not sure why you, as you put it, 'ranted' about it but the issue is far from explained; I recall clipping it for another site (when the story first broke) and then clipping the follow-up 'explanation'. It could be the case that the official explanation is the genuine one (stranger things have happened) but it isn't according to the eye witnesses (or some of them). One Dude felt insulted enough to make his own animated video on what he saw.  I just thought it was interesting to have (I'll compromise, here) further (alleged) information on it. It should have been put on my other site, though, for continuity (well, kind of a continuity - it was ages ago . . in my head). And of course, some people claim that there were two events.

No one here, on the forum, as far as I know - is anti CERN (least of all me); it is true that it gets a lot of bad press and people are understandably nervous about it.

"Non-scientific" junk: all the mysteries that you allude to are - at the moment - in the non-scientific realm. Well, mostly. Not quite sure what you mean, here. A phenomenon/anomally is a mystery to science until science finds a reason for it. To a lot of people (religious, mystics, shamen etc) it is the scientific discipline that has to catch up; just because something isn't proven doesn't mean it ain't there. Likewise just because something isn't written down on an 'open' site or an open news channel (wasn't aware that the latter still existed - I hope you don' take what the right-wing reactionary Daily Mail reports as gospel . . they print some nice pictures, though) doesn't mean it is the truth OR a lie.

Equally, just because I post something here doesn't necessarily mean that I agree/disagree with all or any of the elements related to the post. That it prompts a discussion or a response - which it has - is cool though.

When a phenomenon presents itself to so many witnesses and the official explanation does not satisfy (some of the witnesses) and they persist in seeking more information . . well, that is a good thing. As Michael Moore said, "we live in fictitious times, my friends". Never stop questioning.

As to the Whales beaching: sonar from human vessels seems to be the chief suspect, at the moment. Crop circles (largely) man-made; some MAY not be . . we'll have to wait and see. Latest theory that seems to be creating excitement is the 'plasma' from space (type in plasma crop circles - you may get something). Theories, theories, funny things.  Yes, peace, indeed. I agree with everything you've written there....I guess I was just a bit pissed off with the article you posted being attributed to Wikileaks...when it so obviously isn't from there....

I wouldn't usually use the "mail" as a source of reference it was the first one I googled though...and I used it as even they decided that this "conspiracy" wasn't worth the ink.

I used to work on missiles and have seen various missfires causing similar but not necessarily that spectacular trails...

As for the other stuff...they were just random thoughts spewing from my head in a fit of pique...yep there are many weird things out there and as many theories that could fit....some have merit some are clearly crackpot thinking...but all valid in there own way...

I apologise to you for opening my mouth before thinking things through and am grateful to you for writing back in a constructive manner.
