Speaking of Omaba and his guns; as a matter of fact, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), a staunch enemy of the US Constitution and the Second Amendment, and a career GUN GRABBER, HAS A CONCEALED WEAPON"S PERMIT and carries a gun... "she enjoys having a CCW permit for HER OWN PISTOL."

You see, what people DON'T UNDERSTAND is that idiots like Feinstein want YOUR GUNS controlled and taken from you, BUT NOT THEIRS.

Notable Anti-Gun Hypocrites...

Jane Fonda asked why she and Tom Hayden had handguns when they supported gun control, she said, "Gun control? That's for other people, not for us."

Sammy Davis, Jr. - outspoken advocate of gun control, was caught by British police at London's Heathrow Airport trying to smuggle his handgun into England.

Dianne Feinstein as San Francisco mayor, tried to ban handguns in San Francisco, while she was enjoying the protection of both a police bodyguard and her own concealed carry (CCW) handgun permit.

Don Perata - A strong anti-gun advocate, he enjoys having a CCW permit for his own pistol.

NY Times publisher Arthur Sulzburger editorialized against guns but had his own CCW permit.

For me the problem is that (like most big issues today) we have 2 equally stupid propositions.
In order for us to not end up with gun control we need to have SOME suggestions from the Gun lobby that sound remotely reasonable. When they suggest that the answer is to arm teachers or have armed guards in Grammar Schools that just is not going to resonate.
I mean on one hand the suggestion is that we radically change the nature of our everyday society so that people are searched entering shopping malls and movie theaters and on the other hand the suggestion that we ban assault weapons. You can guess where the majority of people are going to come down on that.
For the average person banning assault weapons has no direct detrimental effect. And even if it has limited positive effect there is no reasons not to. Most people don't own an AR15.
Personally I do. As well as an SKS and AK along with 10 or so hunting rifles.

Guns are so cool.

Every kid should be taught to enjoy them, as young as possible

Well dude, we just don't know; let's think about that. Can it be said that dudes can disagree and even have some fun competing in the ideas arena and still be dude-like? I would say so. It's just like our opinions, man.

Nothing is fucked here, dude, nothing is fucked. 8) I'm staying, finishing my coffee.

absolutely in agreement, every dude is 100% entitled his own opinion but I can't even get my head around why you would need a gun, never mind to discuss teaching kids how to use them, that's all I'm meaning.
I appreciate it's a constitutional issue as well.

The reason for the guns is that it gives the citizens a way to defend themselves, which os why it was written in.  And the reason people teach children about guns is because statistically if a child is familiar with firearms and has been responsibly taught (which does happen more often than reported) they are generally less likely to shoot up schools or random people.  The issues come into play when someone with mental illness or the like end up with firearms.  This is prohibited by laws.  The next problem is either way it goes down criminals will always have guns. At the end of the day, this talk about it all is exhausting.  Neither side has it right and never will.  They even blame video games and movies for violence here.  Never mind the fact that news reports these acts constantly.  Just my opinion.
