To easy to say this now that he is not around but knowing Lennon he like to get everybody worked up into a lather .... it was his way of checkin you out..... he laughed outside but laughed twice as much inside.... LOL. Maybe so! Fletch seems kinda lazy. He doesn't care about his appearance or wardrobe. He sorta shows up at his job when he feels like it. Fletch never wanted to be a killer for hire, he just wanted to write his story about drug dealers. He has a dreamlike fantasy sequence in the movie. Hmm, yeah, that's all I gots.
