I have to support the nomination of Bill and Ted, strictly for the best quote of the movie, "Be excellent to each other." That right there should be a major tenet of Dudeism.

Opps, sorry dude, I modified your post by accident. Meant to post...

Fucking eh, dude. Welcome to our beach community. Pull up a rug.

Has anyone nominated J.D. Salinger yet? Franny and Zooey alone is filled with enough zen to gag a monk. Leaving fame and publishing behind to write purely for his own happiness is the very definition of Dudeist activity.

Glad to be here.

How about Fletch? Think of him as The Dude in his younger, more active days.

To easy to say this now that he is not around but knowing Lennon he like to get everybody worked up into a lather .... it was his way of checkin you out..... he laughed outside but laughed twice as much inside.... I don't buy into this being the truth not one bit..... remember B.S. is big money ..... I would ask Yoko but I do not want to be laughed at.....

Fletch? ???

LOL. Maybe so! Fletch seems kinda lazy. He doesn't care about his appearance or wardrobe. He sorta shows up at his job when he feels like it. Fletch never wanted to be a killer for hire, he just wanted to write his story about drug dealers. He has a dreamlike fantasy sequence in the movie. Hmm, yeah, that's all I gots.
