@Liam_123, My breakfast: Two eggs, seasoned with pepper, soy sauce, sriracha, and salsa, steamed in greased ramekins, and served atop buttered toast. It's very difficult to mess up steamed eggs, and very easy to clean up after.

SagebrushSage

...I also like scrambled eggs. I put cheese and ketchup on them.

Rev. Trisha

Had a couple of the eggs for breakfast this morning. I had managed to filter out most of he broken shells, scrambled and seasoned with salt and Garam Masala.
I will remember in future to take something to wrap the egg tray in to stop it bouncing too much. Such is life.  :)

One of the best egg breakfasts I have ever had was scrambled eggs and bacon on a toasted cinnamon bun. Can't forget to have a cup of coffee with that as well.

Bit of a random thing, but I've been having a bit of trouble deciding of I should buy a pair of slippers or not.

I've had a pair of moccasins when I was a kid, but now I'm older, I feel like if I buy them, it's like I'm accepting fate, buying denture cream and planning saga trips. I know other dudes love them and even cherish them as much as their bathrobes, and I do totally get it, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Maybe I have a bit of Peter Pan syndrome, or just super choosy, I mean I love my flip flops, so slippers would be kinda similar, right? I'm adamant that I will not go down the croc route, but even jellies are a no no too (is that dudeist heresy? I dunno).

How about these traditional Russian felt slippers? They have bears printed on them, so they will not intrude upon your youthful masculine virility. Also, because they have open toes, they are like a cross between sandals and slippers.

You're over-thinking it.  If you want a pair of slippers, get yourself a pair of slippers.  If you don't, don't.  It's really that simple.

Word. I'm looking for slippers to wear to jiu jitsu classes. Can't wear shoes on the mat and slippers would be way easier to remove/put on than shoes. I'd be all over these if they were in adult sizes.

I liked the ones Sage linked, too, though.

You might also consider some slip-on sandals.  Slippers are designed and produced to be worn around the house.  Even if they have some sort of rubber soles they probably won't be as durable as the soles on sandals that are made to be worn outdoors, and you could end up going through slippers faster than Bunny went through the Big Lebowski's money.

I'm of the opinion that Crocs are the new shoe for slackers. Flip flops and slippers are relics; Crocs are the future of lazy footwear.

been using Crocs or cheaper alternatives for years around house and garden or maybe quick trip to the shops. A good pair of clogs though (men's and women's are available) for durability and ease of use on our modern hard pavements works for me. Best of all they are totally outside the concept of the fashionistas so they can be used any time or social circumstance. Least ways that is my excuse and am sticking to it.  ;D

When you say "clogs" do you mean like the wooden ones?

Wood sole leather upper (traditional British) or the modern Danish type that are made from synthetic materials and somewhat flexible but look like the originals. Medics use them a lot. I prefer the Danish type. Once broken in (the uppers are a bit inflexible at first), they are very comfortable.

This where I got mine from, though there are other suppliers including bespoke clog makers around.
