So pending a tax return I'll eventually be getting, (although I can't really afford it, and shouldn't have spent money on it), I made myself a pair of Dudeist sneakers.  My 2 favorite colors, purple and green, happen to correspond to the Dude Yang, and Converse has a "make your own Chucks" on their website.  Chuck Taylor's are universally known for their laid-back style and they're comfy as fuck, like being barefoot without being barefoot, so I figured they'd be ideal for my "official Dudeist kicks".

So behold, my Dudeist sneakers:

(If you can't read the writing on the side it says "Zoe Dudeist")

Far out ! Took a while but okay you guys aren't privy to all the new shit so, you know ...but , hey, that's what you ...pay me for.. Speaking of which, Do you think you could give them the $75 in cash? Your concern is and you've gotta check it with your accountant, but that this might bump you up into a higher tax ...

See I don't subscribe to the cult of the sneaker so this doesn't mean a lot to me ;D

I bet they're comfier than jellies and flip flops (almost!). It shows you can dudify almost anything and make it your own. Nice work, dude :-)

The only thing that crushes my heart is that Nike bought them out years ago, and moved all Converse operations overseas.  They're no longer made with love in the USA.

I appreciate the simplicity of the design - with or without modifications.

Every year, it becomes more difficult to buy a pair of shoes that doesn't irradiate neon gasses, contain a small rodent, or set-rep hardcore youknowwhatI'msayin. I just want comfortable things to protect my feet.

Great job on these dude!  Those are very nice!  I dig those colors.  They look nice and comfortable for lounging.
Take 'er easy, Dudes!

ZoeAbides

Thankie!  I shall slack, lounge and abide with pride.

Welp, my beauties came via UPS today and they look exactly how they appear on the website!  I'm very happy with them.  I promptly laced them up, slipped them on and chilled the fuck out on my couch.

I like yer style dude...
I grew up wearing chucks, still wear em... Wait, does that mean I never grew up?? Far out...

Hot damn, those shoes look nice! I didn't even know that you could design your own on there, so I had played around with it, and it was fun on a bun! Whattaya think?

Thankie!

Classic but "sub-dude", like an old black and white film come to life.  I dig yer style, Dude!

Its me again. Hopefully I don't seem like a cleft asshole here, but I think I made some better shoes than my last pair. This is my Medina Sod pair  :D thoughts?

Other than yellow being my least favorite color, they look nice!

Nice style, but i must have hobbit feet or something because those converse things are like stickin my plates of meet in binder. A leather pair of teva rafting sandals are damn comfy, as long as you don't mind the tan lines.
