This duderino and his squaw have done with the US and are planning our move to a caribbean or central american locale. This year's taxes were the breaking point. The amount wasn't sufficiently crushing; they had to make the process of paying them a fucking promethean nightmare on top of it. It's just too much. Now, that said, we aren't expecting unicorns and rainbows. I've traveled in second and third world countries. Everywhere has its plusses and minuses. But we're just done here. The prospect of leaving is the only thing that gets us through the days.

So, we says screw it. We've worked enough and have a couple passive income streams. Time to check out of the rat race, stop killing ourselves to make a extra couple bucks, lower our costs of living, and disassociate from the general dysfunction. We have a four year time table. Plan on taking vacations to several possible relocation points in that interim while dropping a house on our debts and cleaning up everything else. We're thinking Belize, Panama, Nicaragua, etc. Anyone live in those areas or have experiences there? Anyone else simply tired of fighting the machine and find a way off the grid?

Cuba, maybe? I mean, they're opening up and lifting the embargoes...

 Right behind you bro.

I'm here getting another license in insurance so I can bang this money thing out, save a good dollar and bail. It's chaos and out of control. For the meantime, I'm just transforming destructive energies into constructive, ya know? Kinda fuel the motivation to enjoy some peace of mind. Good luck to you. I'm not familiar living outside the US. Sad days lol
