I got into healthcare to try to help people...it has been more fulfilling than other shit I have done. At the same time, I see a lot of un-dude and entitled behavior and see what really makes the wheels turn.

Both the parasites inside and outside that milk the system take some of the shine off the whole endeavor.

I try to just relax and enjoy it, take care of people and hopefully make their day better...then go home to my special lady friend and kids and enjoy. That being sad I have been having a major wet dream lately (not literally) about running a food truck with some bbq ribs and brisket that would also serve my fellow man and be good for my soul.

Sometimes you eat the bear, and well, sometimes, wha, the bear eats you.

LIke others have said, "do what you love". Sometimes that's not too easy. Like for me, I need my job for the insurance (my special lady and I are expecting our own Little Lebowski). So, what I try to do is live Dude in anything I do. It's Hard sometimes, I'll admit that, but it's worth it in the end. It also helps promote Dudeism when people ask how you're always takin' er easy for those sinners out there.

That's true, calm and mindful approach is the best way to find proper solutions, and in my work, it's especially essential. When I had to develop software, I checked several sources like https://sloboda-studio.com/blog/software-code-audit to help me find the best option, and it was all worth it in the end.
