So me and a couple of dude-like Buds headed for one of our beach community's finer drinking holes (The Redondo Beach Brewery) and had us a Beer Adventure.

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised; these were the Oat Sodas we all went for...........

My local nano-brewpub (i.e., the one in my den) has stepped up its game. It has two Imperial IPAs, a cider make from local apples, and an alcohol-free rootbeer on tap! That latter is for some ole broad that practically lives here. I keep telling her to leave but she threatens to take half my shit.

Always good to read of other dude's beer adventures!  :D

;D I only had the Hangar 24, I was the designated driver dude.

Some info...

Hangar 24 Oktoberfest Fall Lager

Our fall seasonal is an ode to the brewing traditions of Germany. This amber lager is brewed in true Reinheitsgebot fashion using the finest imported German Malt, German Hops and German Yeast. Incredibly clean and balanced, this lager has a wonderful malty backbone and a hint of earthy hops. Traditionally released in early fall, this beer will make you want to stand up and sing "Ein Prosit!"

Just about anything by Stone is worth trying. It's "Enjoy By" series is a big IPA meant to be consumed soon after release. Looks like you got a nice little bar/pub there.

We don't get Stone here as far as I know.
Although we do have a nice beverage center with a lot of exotics from all over.
Luckily we do have some pretty good craft breweries of our own.
If you can get it I recommend Ommegang.

It's a righteous place to abide with a few dude buds and down a few oat sodas. Our motto is; "don't think, drink!" ;D ...and eat pizza!

Another episode in the Ongoing Beer Adventure.................

So, today I said fuck it to work and headed out for yet another Beer Adventure. Me and the Lads jumped in our Dude-mobiles and headed for the beach. Upon arriving at our favorite drinking hole, we discovered yet another righteous Oat Soda to raise a glass to and proceeded to partake.

Stone Xocoveza

Check out - http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/147/128500/

Our chocolaty, winter-spiced mocha stout is back. This insanely delicious take on Mexican hot chocolate is crafted with cocoa, coffee, pasilla peppers, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. First brewed in 2014 with San Diego homebrewer Chris Banker after his recipe was named the winner of our annual homebrew competition, it quickly became a cross-country sensation as craft beer media and fans cheered for Stone Xocoveza?and clamored for more. We too loved this beer, so of course we caroled ?Claro que s?!

Now gifted with a new name, Stone Xocoveza for the Holidays & the New Year has joined our eminent lineup of special releases. We?re releasing it just in time for that time of the year when the joyous spirit of giving is in the air and good behavior is generously rewarded."

Sounds tasty. OddSide Ales has a beer called Mayan Mocha Stout, with Dutch chocolate coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Habanero peppers. Sounds similar. Haven't found any Xocoveca in my local bottle shop yet, though. I'll keep an eye out.

Let us know just like your opinion, man, if you find some.  ;D

Oddside also just did a limited release of Nihilist. If any of you dudes are interested, I have a few bottles I can spare.
