How can I, as a new convert and freshly sanctified priest help others to abide? Any suggestions on showing the many Christians, Jews, and Muslims in the SoCal area how to abide without offending their admittedly heightened sensitivities?

Don't preach, never fucking preach. Just let your friends see the dude in you. Abide and they will see it. Just mark it eight and never live in the fucking past.

Good advice man, but its a hard impulse to overcome. When you get a bit of truth you just gotta have it without throwing it around I guess. Food for thought.

S'alright.  I wasn't either.

For my two cents, I advise waiting.  Just abide, allow your chillination to exude.  Someone will, at some point, maybe, ask, "Dude!  How do you do it?  How do you smile with such calm through this shit?"  That's when they actually want to converse about abiding.
Abide!
