Guys just leave it.

Have a drink.

Smoke a J.

I'm perfectly calm, dude. Calmer than you are ;)
Can't afford any of above right now. Maybe that's why I'm being such a twat. Feeding the monkey sucks, man.
The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners.

...I'm perfectly calm, dude. Calmer than you are ;)

I used to internalise all my stress and aggression, until I actually had a break down, was signed off for eight months on seroxat (as mentioned earlier). Which completely turned all the voices off in my head. It was then I realised what lonely lives the rest of you actually live.

I stopped taking the sedatives, the voices are back (not as much as before), which is good because it's actually my creative muse that is talking to me ;D.

And every now and then i explode in a rant. I'm more balanced because of it, the rants are few and far between.

I am writing poetry and stories again.

To quote Garfield "Too much month left at the end of the pay check" yes I am frequently there.

Poetry, you say? Few years ago I tried some mushrooms and that was one of very few moments in my life when I actually understood and even tried to write some poetry. I came up with this idea that poets are people with some kind of different state of mind (something like: there's a thin line between genius and madness) and rest of ordinary, gray folk can only achieve that with drugs. I don't know how much true is that theory, I was seriously high, but it seemed perfectly clear at the moment.

I usually unload my anger on surrounding things, 'cause everything drives me mad. I've never seriously destroyed anything, but was close few times. Another thing is that usually I hurt myself more that those things i.e. I kick something and have fucking sore foot for a week. That usually cools me down a bit :)
It's worse when some poor bastard comes around when I'm angry - they get the attitude and I know they don't deserve it. I try hard to stop this and noticed some progress, but it's still a long way. My inner Walter is a mean bastard :)

And finally - do you mean Garfield the cat? It looks like it and if yes than fuckin' a, mate, that's one of the brilliantest (is that a word?) things created by humans. He's a true dude, can't really find truer (OK, now I'm quite sure I'm inventing words :D ).

Peace, man. You made my evening. Cheers!

See a lot of people say that about me. I personally don't see it as a mental thing I just seriously believe I have a radically different point of view on reality to most people.

All my life I have conducted conversations in my head , sometimes with people I know, sometimes with people i don't. These have always been part of the creative process for me. Sometimes the conversations take on a life of their own, which is where I start to write.

When I took the sedatives these conversations stopped, and even though I spent eight months signed off work I was totally unable to create during that period.

Dude no ones angry here any more, this had resolved into a discussion about madness and creativity. Mostly my madness and the voices in my head coming back.

;D

.....and that's cool.
Dude, we can't take  this negativity into the forum, beating the  voices in our heads should be a pushover, and before you know it we're in the semis! Am I wrong? Be  okay then. ;D ;D ;D ;D

If you put it that way... I do it sort of all the time then :) Well, most of it maybe. It's difficult to describe using just words I guess, but many times I caught myself being miles away going through some conversations in my head :) Sometimes I describe things I know for myself and probably some  other stuff I can't remember now.
What I was thinking about poets wasn't any mental problems. More like a gift maybe. Different state of mind... Fuck it, man. It is hard to describe with words! If they'll find a way to plug yourself to somebody's head then you'll know what I mean. Besides - I was high then 8)

Anyway - this doesn't help me with poetry. I never wrote anything, but I thought about committing some story maybe. Only poems I do get and understand are song lyrics. For some reason it's easier with music.

And Garfield - if you didn't know you can see all the stripes ever made for free on the official website. At the moment I'm somewhere in 1987. I don't like cats, man, but Garfield is a fuckin' genius. I love the attitude since I saw my first stripe.

You don't like cats? Cats are Dudes, man - cats are whiskered-haikus with tails. I believe that some Dude got his cat ordained as a Ddueist (it's somewhere on the forum - maybe "That's Fucking Interesting.")

Beating the voices, no you misunderstand me sir, I like the voices (they are my friends).

The voices are part of my creative process.

I don't know man. They freak me out. I'm simply scared of them. Even them small ones try to scratch my eyeballs out (or at least that's what I think) :D

What get's me all Walter like is arguing against prohibition. Just had a nasty bit of arguing on another site. I started it, but still. Much nicer around here.
