Yes sir. Bright green, if I remember well.
Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man.

You know, beside a strict oat sodas daily meditation regimen I'm also watching the movie at least twice a week for some time. Until I've absorbed it well. And in English too. As I'll receive the Italian copy today.  8)

Can't make a bad "figure" with all you wiser dudes. And can't go on being the walrus of the forum too.  8)

Dude, that's, like, that's just the stress talking, man. Now, as far as I can tell, what we have here is a victimless walrus. Being the walrus is a great honor among Lebowski type dudes.

An uncompromised real Walrus, or one of those bullshit disney Alice in Wonderland ones with no tusks?

Smokin' and bowlin' in the LBC...

An uncompromised real walrus of course. But, without taking any un-earned honour, I was a little out of my element or, in the parlance of our times, I had a little frame of reference. But it's getting better.  8)

I have both the Italian and the original version. The translation is quite horrible; imagine that they called the Dude "Drugo", which here is the same name given to the killers of "Clockwork Orange". And, just to give another example "if you are not into the whole brevity thing" has been translated as "if you like giving diminutives".

I prefer to watch the original one of course.

Reminds me of the Spanish and Korean language TV channels out here in the LA area, funniest closed captions you'll ever read.

I really don't understand why they do this kind of things. It would be better to use only subtitles, if the problem is to match the movements of the lips with words. At least is a good way to learn a new language.

Another jewel: "I'm the Walrus" is "Obladi' Oblada'".

Probably they aren't golfers. There are things that you simply can't translate without loosing their meaning.

Is that some kind of Eastern thing?

Well, you know, hmmm, lost my train of thought again.
