I'd like to nominate the character Ed (Nick Frost, Shaun of the Dead) as a contemporary dude, to use the parlance of our times.


He's unemployed, smokes the good stuff, drinks a lot, sits around playing Playstation (or what-have-you), drives around and goes to the same pub all the time. He's generally familiar with the art of takin' her easy, apart from when he's kicking ugly fucking brainbricking zombie ass, of course. Fucking nihilists.
