I was watching a tape of The Big Lebowski earlier this afternoon. About 10 or 15 minutes into the movie, I felt a strong urge to go bowling. Weird...

The opening montage always puts me in the mood to roll a few frames too.

Just the same way when I see Rocky, it makes me want to drink raw eggs and run up stairs, or the way Rounders makes me want to be a card shark, or that The Hustler makes me want to play pool.

Then I realize that I am in fact, too lazy to do any of this at anything beyond a mediocre level and I just say 'fuck it'  and enjoy the movies.

Far out link man. I've been using a game called Gutterball... It's been a pretty neat distraction, since I can customize balls, and play as different characters that I make up like the dudester, donny, jesus, etc....

Not weird, man.   I have a wicked ball that lights up during Moonlight bowling.  Haven't Rolled The Stone for a bit.  It's time.

I like to watch... Since I bummed out my back  , I can't bowl properly any more. Which is a waste. Trouble is, I'm too damn lazy to get some old friends organised for a lane attack, and you just know it'd be a barrel of laughs. None of them have put their fingers in a dark hole and worn other people's shoes for... must be decades. Unless they're not telling me something?

Nope, there's nothing quite like a Friday night with a pocket full of jinglies, 14 lanes flat out, and '1942' or 'Gyruss' in working order to while away the pee breaks. Mmmm. Shoe powder....mmmm....

I actually find that "wii" bowling is definitely something I can abide

Me and the lady went out to "roll the stone" a bit ago.  Been awhile.  Felt damn good.
