Hi Dudes,

It's probably been about a year and a half (possibly longer) since my shadow past this way.

Nothing personal, but been in some relatively undudeist situations (both people and places) for a little while (didn't want to burden anyone with shite that was basically mine).

I have ghosted (Guested) a few times just to see how stuff was going.

So my new job (started about a month ago) they have a big thing about us not being employees, we're all "partners" in the business (UK Dudes may know who I work for).

Once in a while the entire branch of the company gets together to discuss what has happened and whats going on business wise, they call this "All Hands". The first one of these you attend as a new partner, tradition is that you stand up and give your name, your job, the last time you bought something from the partnership, and some reason you are original, which if someone else also has or does that they can challenge and you have to come up with something else.

So my first "All Hands" meeting was last week. wont bore you with the other bits, but scored a high score with my point of originality.

Okay first understand I had managed to keep this from my work colleagues for a month, I basically stood up and announced I was an ordained Reverend in the Church of the Latter Day Dude. Met with almost absolute silence, no challenge what so ever. In fact I got a round of applause.

It just reminded me I hadn't been here and had a look round for a while.

Just nice to be back.
