Also, I forgot to mention, when Clinton, Podesta, Abramovic, and the rest of their coven are finished raping the children and/or farming their blood for rejuvenating child blood transfusions, they  ritualistically sacrifice the children to Moloch, eat them, and get high off of their pineal glands.

Look, I voted for Bernie Sanders in the Primaries, and attended my state's convention as a pledged delegate for him. I was extremely disheartened when he lost the nomination. There are rumors that the party and Clinton Campaign conspired against him, and pushed him out into the cold.

However it was just a rumour, and I take it with a grain of salt. Look SagebrushSage, I'm not a fan of Clinton either, but I voted for her in the general election because I felt like she would have continued Obama's policies, which I liked. I'm not a fan of constant drone strikes, which is why I regularly write my rep and senators in congress about, but I feel like Clinton would have simply been a continuation of the status quo, which I prefer over a downward spiral into oligarchy.

Websites like the one you provided here, Breitbart and may others report fake news. It's been shown time and time again by reputable sources that sites like these provide fake news in order to push an agenda. The far right has had it out for Clinton since the mid 90's, and some of it is based in rational criticism, but much of it has devolved into partisan nonsense, and is simply a vendetta for the sake of a vendetta. Yes, I'll grant you there was shadiness with the Clinton Foundation when it comes money laundering, but it has also done a lot of good in the world. (look at the Trump Foundation if you want true corruption)

I'm not defending her negative aspects, but I am hoping that people drop this vendetta bullshit, and look at her honestly as a politician and a person, not a right-wing caricature

Also, what happened to all of the neat discussion about spirituality and philosophy? That was why I can to this forum. Ever since the election, this place has become a haven for toxic political discussions, and that's why I don't really come around anymore, because there's nothing but conspiracy theories and bickering.

forumdude

Jianblade, I totally agree with you. Nothing ruins the vibe like politics.

Would be nice if civil discussions could be had here but as Sagebrush has shown, even Dudes lose their cool when politics come into play.

I think we're going to have to start banning politics here the same way we do at the Facebook page.

Don't want to be a hard on about this, but you know, fair warning.
I'll tell you what I'm blathering about...

SagebrushSage

Anyway, this is what is revealed in the cryptographically-verified Podesta leaks on Wikileaks. Breitbart was assassinated for writing about this back in 2011 or so. This matter is what Assange has risked his life and endured 6 years of illegal imprisonment to show to us. This is what Seth Rich was assassinated for leaking to Wikileaks. This is what Clinton ran for president to avoid imprisonment for. I do not mind that you do not believe me, but you all deserve to know the truth. Enjoy your civil discussions.

Brother D

Ok, how's about this.

What, in your opinion, would be an ideal system? I mean, take the best bits from anywhere in the worldand come up with something that works for all. 1,2,3 go!

Jianblade

How about a divine right monarchy? I think it would be neat to have knights and kings again!

SagebrushSage

I think it would be neat for America to reorganize itself as a constitutional republic for the first time. Under what I would include in the modern classification, a republic has universal suffrage for citizens and representation for provinces that is proportional to population. This has never been the case in our country.

Currently, many states have disenfranchisement in place for felons, at least those currently in prison, so we do not have universal suffrage. Nixon exploited this to deny the vote to many in his opposition, who happened to generally smoke marijuana, via the Controlled Substances Act and related state laws. Many states do not have ID verification for voting or voter registration, which is de facto permission for non-citizens to vote or for citizens who wish to abstain to have votes falsely cast for them, for example by family members. Also, we do not use the modern democratic standard of ranked choice / instant runoff voting for selecting representatives in this country, and instead use the default system of plurality voting. The lack of ranked choice voting tends to deny minor parties representation in the legislature or a chance at the presidency. This is a form of disenfranchisement, effectively denying suffrage to holders of minority viewpoints.

There is grossly disproportionate representation in favor of voters from less-populous states through two votes per state in the the Senate and one vote per state in the processes for states to call a constitutional amendment or approve amendments. The electoral college is approximately proportional to population, so its results should be respected for the current election. But it should be replaced by a popular vote. By the way, the fact that there was a movement to overturn this election is hypocritical since Bill Clinton and Obama both won elections with a larger popular vote discrepancy without complaint. Amendments should be approved by national referendum, and some process involving a national petition followed by a national referendum set up for calling a constitutional convention.

Quote
I plot your rubric scarab, I steal your satellite
I want your wife to be my baby tonight
I choose to steal what you chose to show
And you know I will not apologize
Your mine for the taking
I'm making a career of evil [repeat three times]

Pay me I'll be your surgeon, I'd like to pick your brains
Capture you, Inject you, leave you kneeling in the rain
I choose to steal what you chose to show
And you know I will not apologize
Your mine for the taking
I'm making a career of evil [repeat three times]

I'd like your blue eyed horseshoe, I'd like your emerald horny toad
I'd like to do it to your daughter on a dirt road

And then I'd spend your ransom money, but still I'd keep your sheep
I'd peel the mask your wearing, and then rob you of your sleep
I choose to steal what you chose to show
And you know I will not apologize
Your mine for the taking
I'm making a career of evil [repeat seven times]

And his toadies. The hoople heads.

You can't advance the interests of 1% of the population with 1% of the vote.
The thing about the tactics of the right that you sort of have to admire is how keenly aware of the nearly unfathomable gullibility of such a large percentage of the population. If I was in the room when somebody suggested most of the crap that they come up with I'd have to say "no that could never work. People aren't that stupid". I stand corrected.
As I see it Hillary Clinton would have been a solid line drive into the a gap for the "real owners" as George Carlin liked to call them. A stand up double. Donald Trump is a grand slam into the upper decks. The gift that just keeps giving. Now that there is a willingness to go down this road you can expect further swinging for the fences. Attacks on the first amendment. Further erosion of privacy. A permanent rigging of the system to the cheers of people who purport to hate corruption but support the most corrupt things imaginable if it promises to benefit them, which of course is bullshit sold to the gullible. The desperate. Anxious for someone to hate. The brown shirts. Same old scenario.

Oh and did anybody else notice that they put Rick Perry in charge of the department of energy. The department that he famously couldn't remember the name of in the debates. Somewhere there is a room where a bunch of rich pricks were laughing their asses off at that. They make the head of Exxon secretary of state and put the asshat in charge of the department of energy. I'm telling you. They are absolutely sure that nothing they do will penetrate the bubble. They have the airwaves. And there is a bumper crop of ignorant hoople heads out there.

You have to hand it to Donald though, it seems like only he was the only could convince the American people to cut out the middle-man, and elect a billionaire directly, and convince them it's in their own best interest. Like seriously, do you really expect a billionaire to care about the problems of the working middle class? Fuck no.

SagebrushSage

You all are responding about as I expected.

I am probably wrong about a few points. For example, my points about the Clinton mafia's child sex trafficking, ritual child sacrifice, cannibalism, and abuse of pineal glands as a drug is supported mostly by a Wikileaks-leaked staff email where a staffer says she will "sacrifice a chicken (child) to Moloch in the backyard" for good luck, by the fact that Clinton's video-documented Parkinsons-like and Parkinsons' dementia-like symptoms, uncontrollable evil laughter at inappropriate times, and the plug removed from her tongue match the medical description of Kuro, a prion disease similar to mad cow disease that you can only get by eating humans (children), by the Wikileaks leaked email by Podesta discussing Spirit Cooking, which is an occult ritual championed by Abramovic involving the consumption of various bodily fluids, by photographs of the Podestas with Abramovic, the many Podesta emails using obvious code words and phrases such as "playing dominoes on cheese or pasta" and "handkerchief with a pizza-related map" that match with an FBI document describing pedophilia code words, by the fact that Clinton got a convicted abductor of 33 children from Haiti, Laura Silsby, off the hook, the obvious necessity of killing child prostitution victims to eliminate witnesses, the lack of any motive to restrict deviant behavior once one has gone as far as child sex trafficking, and the connections of all this to journalist Hunter S. Thompson's discussion of Adrenochrome and pineal glands in his book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," which seems to allude to real-world events. The fine details of all this are partly from the pizzagate community and partly from my own research after pizzagate came out, but I came to this general opinion about a month before that meme started from my own research.

It is possible that the Clinton mafia merely push illegal wars for purposes of bribery and insider trading, not explicitly to produce orphans through war and to improve the operating environment for child abductors such as ISIS and Boko Haram via the breakdown of society in their geographical regions to increase supply of orphans to the black market. The orphans might just be a happy side-effect. It is also possible that they only purchase fun time with children and cover for child sex traffickers in government out of self-interest to maintain supply, but return the children to their abductors when they are finished and do not concern themselves with the details of the childrens' acquisition, management, and disposal. So, they might not be quite as evil as I suspect. You will be changing your tune in 2 years or so once some of what will doubtlessly be a long and complicated clusterf**k of court cases start producing convictions.

Jianblade

Hey Sage, wanna talk about philosophy?

SagebrushSage

Nah man. I've said my peace here. It's hard to convince people about the influence of organized crime on governance, but I try. It wasn't so long ago that we did this slavery crap out in the open. People are often set in their ways by their early 20's, and the KKK was still lynching black folks when Clinton was coming to age. I think that the last people of any influence to hold these ideas are finally dying of old age, but they sure are going out swinging.

Trump was corrupt, probably, but I think what we're seeing is a "Darth Vader throwing Palpatine down the bottomless pit" sort of situation. Trump is a mob-connected but anti-slavery civil rights era New Yorker taking off the gloves and giving a disgusting old Alabama KKK hag a good old-fashioned beating. Break out the popcorn; the next few years we get to watch a lot of corrupt warlords face justice under the law.
