Out here we are all his children

Such an incredibly talented musician gone too soon. An it seems that this year all of the good musicians/artists are dying and leaving us with all the crap ones

I can't wait for my next beer

I think it would be hard to find at least one song that someone couldn't appreciate no matter where your tastes land. If even only for it's creativity.

"Dudeism is the outward expression of how we interact with the world and the dudes we encounter... The inner way we ruminate and allow things to affect our lives and atta-dude... Abiding."

My wife and I saw Prince twice on the same tour back in 19wheneveritwas because the seats for the first show were behind the stage and not particularly good.  To his credit, several times during that first show Prince came to the back of the stage and performed just for those of us in the cheap seats.

I can't say I am/was a big fan, but I do think he was incredibly talented and fearless when it came to his music.
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

It seems the good ones go in waves, RIP to a great artist.

It still gets me. My mother drilled it into my head growing up. I just cannot believe it. Very underated overall. A true master.
