No but I was involved in performing a few.  I actually was involved in this former cult that some of you may have heard of called Teen Mania's Honor Academy.  I call them a cult but they actually just skated under the minimum requirement to be formally classified as a cult outright.  There was a girl there whom I was dating (though we weren't supposed to date and I eventually was dismissed when they found out) who was being worked so hard by their outreach ministry that one day the stress got to talking too loud and she collapsed and started having a full on hallucinatory panic attack.  Of course, everyone thought it was demons attacking her and we spent 2 hours praying for them to leave before someone had enough sense to call an ambulance.  After I left I still felt shitty about that incident for years... kept thinking about what might've happened if it hadn't been a mental breakdown but something severely physiologically wrong and time-sensitive.  I've let go of all of that since but you never really know how brainwashed you are while you're brainwashed.  I've since come to realize that angels and demons and the "good feeling" you describe after exorcism... it's just the human brain finding patterns where there are none and truthfully, being told you're free of something can actually set you free, even though it's just your own brain doing the adjustment.  Hypnosis works on similar principles.  I guess I was just a shitty hypnotist 

Anyway... This is why dudeism appeals to me... it really is a one-size-fits-all religion meaning that it adjusts to be what YOU need instead of forcing you to fit into what IT needs... nothing is required except to not be a human paraquat... everyone is welcome and there isn't an "us-vs-them" culture... and everything is up for debate.  This keeps it the religion for its time and place.  Fuckin A man!  As long as I'm a dudeist... I don't need to worry about brainwashing ever again!
