Hello there, I am Chuck Keiser's (cckeiser) nephew. I felt it was necessary to inform those indebted to the Dudeism society, as he was, that c.c.keiser passed away yesterday. He spoke extremely highly of both the Dudeism community and his Do No Harm advocacies and appreciated the ideas of each individual within them.

Chuck loved his wife, his dog, his garden, fine coffee or a quality cocktail or glass of wine now and then, and undoubtedly rolling a game or two, or twelve, on any given day. He would ask nothing more from either a distant individual as yourselves or his own family whom he knew for a lifetime than to simply enjoy each others company, roll a game every now and then, and enjoy the finer things in life, whatever that may be to you.

That's kinda just who Chuck was man. Abide 8)

Ouch!

I can only speak for myself here, but I will miss him.

His more recent calls to try to look at the Taoist influences of Dudeism struck a chord.

He was always a very straight shooter as an admin.

He was very open with us as to what he was going through.

I suppose if we had looked at some of his more recent posts we could tell things were not going well with him.

When I have the money to buy booze I will have a quiet drink to him.

I am just sorry I was never able to meet him in person.

RIDP (Rest In Dudeist Peace) CC!

and my condolences to the rest of his family, thank you for telling us.

But after the last few flare ups and reading thread after thread of somebody bashing this or that or anything....I got really tired of it and asked myself if all this was the best we could do with this forum? Is this the Best we could do?
Yeah, I have done my share bashing in the past.....but I do believe this forum has changed my outlook....I feel like I am becoming more Dude/Tao.
And I think that is what this forum is really meant for....at least for me. For me I want to explore more Taoism/Dudeism/Abideism and I believe I (S)hould be directing as  much of my thoughts and writing in that direction on this forum.

I am an Introvert...INFJ, so I never feel like I am the best person to be giving advice to anyone on anything...but then the INFJ kicks me the other way and I just have to say/write something if i think it will help...But it's all just like my opinion...and there are a handful of dudes who are still actively posting that I have great respect for their dudely point of view....so I guess what I am doing is asking for help from wiser dudes than I, to help keep our beach community as Dudely as we can....without getting all kinds of preachy. I do not want any type of censorship....censorship it Not Dude!
If someone seems to be posting shite that looks like it's un-dude....I will try and see if I can find the Tao/Dudeism in it...
I would Love as much help as I can get from anyone else who may feel somewhat the same.

I would like to see the Dude Forum for Dudes and a place everyone can come when they need to so get their dude on.
Take er easy, Abide and please...do not be a dick!

I sure could have used this advice 50 years ago! 8)

Oh no! I didn't realize he was doing so poorly. His positive attitude up to the end should be an inspiration to us all. He was a good man and thorough. He was one of us. He will be missed and his example of doing no harm will live on through us, his friends.

Rest in Dudeness, c.c.keiser!
I'll tell you what I'm blathering about...

Bummer.
Sincere condolences to all who knew him.
Goodnight, sweet prince.
What the fuck are you talking about?

Rev. Gary (revgms)

I found CC to be a true example of what it means to be a Dudeist, he was one the first I talked with, and I found him wise and inviting.

I considered him a dear friend though we never met. This loss is felt in the deepest part of my heart.

I would like the family to know how much I respected and loved this man, I believe we are all better for having known him.

Peace and love to all effected by this terrible loss.

Chuck was a good bowler, a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors, and bowling, and it was great working with him! He was a great dude! Farewell sweet prince. And to cckeiser_Fam; we feel your loss and send out vibes of deep condolences. As CC Dude said; "The purpose of life is to live it." Abide, Chuck!

Thank you for letting us know, sir. That, itself, is a courtesy and blessing we could not have expected. CCK's family has my most sincere sympathies.

I will miss CCK. I had, in particular, taken an obsessive and perhaps unhealthy interest in his exploration of teas and coffees. (More the former than the latter, due to my own tastes; but the dude was so enthusiastic I found myself reading about the enjoyment of beverages I dislike...kind of poetic, that).

I was not sufficiently acquainted with CCK to impose the title of "friend" upon him; although it is one I will gladly bear in his favor. However, his manifest acceptance and reconciliation of mortality really struck a chord with me. I applaud CCK, his life, and his family. In truth there abides.

I am totally new here and definitely didn't have the pleasure of speaking with or knowing him long enough, unfortunately.  He was one of the first people I talked to on here and helped me feel welcome.  He offered a bit of guidance on this forum itself in my earliest time here and I greatly appreciated that.  I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of exchanging a few words with him.  I will read, enjoy, and probably gain more than a little insight from what he has posted so far on this forum and through his do no harm initiative.  Rest in peace Dude...
Take 'er easy, Dudes!
