Awesome, dude!

Tomorrow we're off to blow up more stuff.  Shooting fireworks for the Tet celebration at the Santa Clara, California fairgrounds tomorrow night.  Will be starting setup tomorrow morning and I understand there will be a motocross race next to us while we're setting up.  Guess the earplugs go in early. 

Let's NOT have any bikes land in the midst of our setup.

Hope the rain holds off until we're done, hate wiring big boomers (lots of 6" shells) in the rain.

Well, yesterday started off cold and wet and our setup spot was the type of mud that makes you taller as you walk.

Due to the wind direction, we decided to set up a few hundred feet further back from the audience and that turned out to be more gravel.  MUCH better to walk and kneel on.

Then the rain stopped and it started clearing.  By show time we were down to a mild breeze and a star filled sky.

Show went well, and we got home earlier than usual.  Nice to have an experienced crew.

I'm back to playing with fire, this time made it on TV, but in a good way.  I'm one of the dudes loading fireworks on the grass, not on the pavement.
