Ha Possibly, although the one thing Boro doesn't lack it's pubs, they're opening all the time. Shame most of them serve crap.

Although we are having a sudden influx of Micro Ale houses opening which has led to some of the other pubs stocking decent beers. The thing about micro pubs is that it that they encourage conversation amoung dudes you ordinarily may not have talked to.

It's literally impossible not to get involved in other Dudes conversation, Dudes abide it too, often leading to the regailing of drug induced expeditions.

Is there still a line across the map of the city that students fear to tread across?

Thats kind of been wiped out 'Over the Border' it's known as. They've built the Police HQ there now and a College, while at the same time knocking down all of the estate that was there. 'St Hilda's' was the estate.

Club Bongo International, is still going strong and still as dodgy as ever.

One of my lecturers loved going there (I wonder why).

Didn't Radio one do a program from there a few years ago?
