Although I am an American, I was once on The Jeremy Kyle Show.  No shit, I really was.  This was about six years ago, and it was the only time that I have ever been in England.  ITV put me up in a very nice hotel with nice room and a stipend for meals, and everything.  It was great, even though I was only in England for a few days and never left the hotel at all, except to go to tape the show.  While in ITV's studios, I met the cast of Coronation Street.  I had (as an American) never even heard of Coronation Street but was told that it was a big-deal show over there.  When I met these British celebrities,  I had no idea who they were at all, and so did not bother to ask for autographs or anything.  I even drank a Red Bull in the green room with this one guy who was on Coronation Street, but told him that I had never heard of that show in my life.  He laughed and we had a nice chat, he and I.  Very non-pretentious and friendly, he was, and I have no idea what his name is.

There's a copy of the show that I was on, that is posted to YouTube.  Who wants to see it?

Who else may want to see it?

Look, I just do not want to be accused of boasting or anything.  That's why I asked for somebody else to second Caesar's motion.

The only reason that I told all of you here about my appearance on that show, is to let all of you know that I am "for real", and to show you a part of what I am all about.  So if anybody else is willing to speak up and let me know that it's OK to post the clip, then I will do so.  And I do guarantee you, dudes, that you'll get a kick out of it.

Caesar dude

I don't see that you need validation...just post it and others will watch it if they want to.

Let me ask you this, Caesar dude, before I post it: have you ever heard of a UK/Australian-based cult called "The Jesus Christians"?  Or of the Bobby Kelly case?

Caesar dude

I've heard of a guy in Oz who thinks he is Jesus....is that the one?

Here's some footage of me on UK television in 2007.  I am a cult-ed activist and independent researcher of cults, sects, and new religious movements.  And I am a Christian.  Dudeism is appealing to me because I dig the philosophy of the Tao and the way of the Dude.  And I see no contradiction in this at all.  I do not consider Dudeism to be my "religion".  I wish that more of the people that I meet in a given church were more Dudely,  I am very eclectic in my spiritual outlook, and am not a fundamentalist anything, much less a Bible-banger type.

Here I am, on TV with Dave McKay in 2007.  I made him look like an idiot in front of millions on UK television and come in at the five-minute mark in this clip, then I continue on into the next clip.

Dave McKay has no humanity in him; he is a pure psychopath.  I have met him, and have shaken his hand.

The Jesus Christians are a small group who (historically speaking) are a "spinoff" from the Children of God/Family.  McKay used to be a COG Shepherd.  His Bible name was Tyrannus.  His wife's name was Lebanon.

And at the risk of sounding immodest myself, I am probably the Number One most knowledgeable expert on this particular group, in this hemisphere.  And they are still out there, but underground, reorganized and using a different name.  Just like the RNR, when the Family did the same thing.

Dig this.  Methinks after you see this, I'll merit enough credibility for you to address me as "Dude".

Probably so.  I am the "Brian" featured on this show; I once told Dave McKay that he is not Jesus, to his face, on UK television, and got applauded for it.    ;D

Well I watched both clips. My question to you is why did you go to that apartment in the first place? Were you looking to join this group or were you looking to find something wrong?

That Dave Mackay and his wife (I assume that is the lady sitting next to him?) are very strange people!

Well done for calling him out....  he's certainly got a messiah complex as can be clearly seen by the trial and taking a punishment.

Yeah, I went in there because (at the time), I was considering joining them.  And then I met them in person (having only previously communicated with them via the web and on the phone) and everything changed.  The creeped me out real bad, and I got the hell out of there.  Yes, that is his wife.  Her name is Cherry.

Caesar dude

I'm going to watch the whole thing.

I've always seen cults as preying on the week and insecure...after all you can just walk away if you're not comfortable. You did!

Dig this.  Methinks after you see this, I'll merit enough credibility for you to address me as "Dude".
Why? This is just self publicity.

To be honest a ten minute appearance on Jeremy Kyle as an expert in "The Jesus Christians are a small group".

"I have had the misfortune, very recently, of watching The Jeremy Kyle Show. It seems to me that the purpose of this show is to effect a morbid and depressing display of dysfunctional people whose lives are in turmoil", and that it was "a plain disgrace which goes under the guise of entertainment".
The show is a horrible freak circus.

I mean well done for not getting caught up with them. But please don't expect any of the Brits to be impressed by being on the show.

Dude, I do not expect anybody to be impressed by anything.  The world does not stop and start at your convenience or mine, you miserable piece of s**t.  ((teasing)     ;)
