Afro Samurai, he seems to be a balance between his Dude and Walter sides. I see that there must have been some real samurai that would have had same kind of dude like zen in history past. That's just, like my, opinion.

Yes but he was also plagued by a hallucination that took the piss out of him all the time.

I would not call it hallucination, but rather his dark consciousness he struggles with manifest from his childhood trauma of seeing his father killed. Ninja ninja, keeps his balance by letting him see his worst and can act more zen by choice. That is just my opinion.

Or possibly an externalisation of a multiple personality disorder. Brought on by his witnessing his fathers death.

I know Ninja Ninja is just actually another part of Afro.

Love Afro Samurai and love his zen-like attitude.  (The game was also pretty durn cool, too)  But I don't see The Dude grabbing a sword and hacking up a bunch of people.  The most serious revenge The Dude took was conning/stealing a rug... that he didn't even get to keep.
