Rev. Iconocclesiastes

Hi there.  I am Rev. Iconocclesiastes.  Some call me "the Swami".  I was just ordained a few days ago and am new to Dudeism.  Mind if I do a jay?

Thanks, man.  It's good to be here.

I've got a question, and would like to ask it now.  May I do so?

Lately I've been thinking about the idea of brain transplantation.  As in, having my brain transplanted into some other  dude's body.  That way (if the process of brain transplantation were to be perfected), I could achieve a type of immortality, as could others.

So then it occurred to me that if I were to have my brain transplanted into another body, a potential conundrum arises.  The problem is this: if I ever wanted to masturbate or have sex with my wife, then I'd technically be using some other guy's junk, in order to pleasure myself and/or her (my wife, that is).

Which leads me to my question: if I were to have my brain transplanted onto another dude's body, and then eventually wanted to have sex in some form, would it be irrational of me to feel sorta guilty about using somebody else's body in order to do so?  In other words, would I be abusing the body of the person who used to inhabit it for my own selfish pleasure, and/or for the pleasure of my wife?

In other words: it seems immoral to me, in a sense, the idea of having sex in a scenario in which my brain has been transplanted into some other guy's body.  It'd be strange for me to do so, using somebody else's penis.  But would it then be "my" penis?

And what about the brain of the person whose body I am now "wearing"?  Cold they be "put into" my old body, and would it be weird for them to see my old penis?

What do y'all think?  Would it be immoral/unethical of me and/or my wife to enjoy ourselves in such a scenario?
Would my guilt be rational or irrational for me to feel guilt over it?  Or am I just thinking too much?

Well dude....we just don't know. But you are in a unique position to confirm or, uh, disconfirm that suspicion.
What is a man dude? Is he more than just a pair of testicles? Is he really just in need of a Johnson? Let us not forget that the brain is the biggest erogenous zone....so is zesty coitus really just about your Johnson, or is the real shit all in the mind?
Are you a mind in a body, or a body in your mind?
You'll have to take that up with the fucks at the league office dude. 8)

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

But you are right, cckeiser.  I AM thinking about it too much, and that is is very undude of me.

To me, if we're at the point where we're trading brains & bodies then we'd be past the point of thinking our meat machines are anything special or sacred or what-have-you.

That's fucking interesting man, that's fucking interesting...

Not really a "what if?" type person myself, not a lot of mileage in it, and seems a bit of a waste of energy.

Also by the time you're transplanting your brain into another body you'd just 3d print a new body to be transplanted into.

Drat, my 3D printer just had the table heater die.  WHY during a holiday season when I have a customer job to do and now I can't print a new body either!

Note to designers, do NOT put plastic plugs next to heating elements!

Given the chance I would be a "Futurologist" like Michio Kaku. Just spend my time speculating based on research.

Transhumanism and organ replication are one of my favourite subjects.

They're not quite there yet but try this (from TED): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SfRgg9botI

or BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-12520951

Seems they are hoping for livers this year: http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9244884/The_first_3D_printed_organ_a_liver_is_expected_in_2014.

The other alternative is to grow the body with DNA altered plants.

But if you are I were to engage in coitus, or else masturbate (after all, both of which are a natural, zesty enterprise) with some other dude's johnson, or in a 3D replica of some other dude's body, or whatever), would I be irrational in feeling a bit guilty about it?  And if I were to pleasure myself and/or my wife with what is technically another dude's johnson, then would that make me gay?
