QuoteActually I thought it was St peter who decides if you come into heaven or not isn't he the gate keeper there?

That's just for Catholics I believe.

Yes it's been outsourced.
According to current evangelical views God believes in small government and supports outsourcing.

Out here we are all his children

Here I think you need to be careful not confusing opinion with fact. just because you use words a certain way does not mean that everyone does, and does not mean that you are using them the correct way.
I am very interested in your split between "Spiritualism" and "Religion" could you further define this for me please?
Which is why I specifically stated it was my opinion.
What personally I see in spiritualism is people feeling... something. An existence, a higher mind, or even the Universe, as a live being. It may even be a creature, an essense or even just a thought existing without matter - I've heard all kinds of theories from various people who claim that they feel or believe in it. Normally people would call them crazy, but why? Maybe they do feel something, maybe they don't. Maybe they do, but it's something ordinary that everyone feels and they just give it a certain meaning. Maybe they do but it's just a placebo. Or maybe they do and it's there indeed, but the majority can't feel it. I mean, how do you explain a colorblind person what certain color looks like? You can't. You can only say 'hey, I see it and you don't'.

Now if people indeed feel this... essence, presence, consciousness - call it whatever - that I would call spiritualism.
Religious people exist both with or without spiritualism. Those who 'feel' often attach themselves to a certain religion that maybe best coincides with their world views. But there are some people who just decide to go into a religion as a set of rules, lessons and dogmas. It's their right, but when they start claiming it as the only truth - I think it's Looney Tunes.

I had a perfect reply for you but BikerDude beat me to it.
They apparently have a certain hierarchy up there as to who does what. Peter is sort of a gatekeeper, and that, if you ask me, is a boring job. But I imagine he does it by god's rules, right? I can't imagine a situation where God calls Peter to his office and asks:
- Who let this guy through? Look at the amount of times he's been with a hooker!
- Yeah I know but he converted her and saved her soul.
- He was doing it to get a discount!
- Does it matter?
- Yep. I'll add it to the list of exceptions.
