Hello brothers and sisters, I had a question in my mind and, though I'm pretty sure of the answer, it's important that all of us dudeists agree on it so that any aggressions won't stand.
Now, I believe we all agree that sunglasses can be considered religious headgears, and, therefore, can be used in official pictures where the law permits their use, right?

Hominid

No religious anything here dude... just laid back dudeliness! Welcome to our little beach party.

Being a bit of an iconoclast myself I can only agree with Hominid's point of view.

We don't have prescribed "religious" anything.

Some Dudes like to wear the bathrobe, jelly's (very uncomfortable) and boxers combination, but that's just their thing.

If it makes you feel more religious and you think you need that (as in certain other religions) go for it.

Many Dudes have beards (a coincident I'm sure), bit disappointed Forum Dude didn't stick with his (personally thought it was a good look for him), but then it's not for everyone.

Personally I like my naked Saturdays, feel pretty religious then. Though it does make going down the local super market a bit problematic (unless I sling on some trousers and a shirt).

Funnily enough I heard tesco was thinking of introducing nude nights. Just don't hang around in the frozen food isle too long!

I'm too short to have any problems there.

I try to avoid doing anything simply because it is considered "religious". If it feels right to you, then by all means go for it. No need to put a label on it.

I agree with you, guys. I just want an excuse to wear sunglasses in my ID picture if possible.  :P

Head Gear...is that some kind of zesty coitus thing? ;D

There was an article a little while back about a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster who successfully got to take his license picture with their religious headgear, a colander. It was in Texas. If you want to move there, you may be able to get away with it...
