Yeah, but Chuck is like the least Dude guy out there, calling for open rebellion for baby Jesus an all. I really wish his meme would dry up and go away.

May I suggest an alternate badass?

And a worthy badass indeed. 8)

Amen, my dudely brother, A-fucking-men. He's the Anti-Dude, always promoting uptight, fucked up thinking.

I like Jackie Chan, or at any rate his movie persona. There's a dude who can kick you in the head but would rather not. He's got that Eastern thing going on, but without taking it too seriously.
I'm just gone, man, totally fucking gone.

That brings up the an idea of perhaps having a section on the going ons of "anti-dudes." Or "anti-dudes" in the news. Only problem is that would tend to make Dudeism very judgmental I would guess. Part of being a dude, IMHO, is disagreeing with people and realizing that "hey man, that's just like your opinion" and let it go at that. AKA, not being uptight at what other people do unless it violates our rights, man! We know our rights!

Just kinda talked yourself right out of what at first seemed a darn fine idea, huh?  ;D

I could be wrong as it's a thing that happens from time to time, but I figure it's one thing to notice that Chuckie Baby is the Anti-Dude, and another monster entirely to make a habit out of looking for similarly paraquat laden reactionaries. I mean, ya know, ya find what you're looking for and then once you've found it you spend time looking at it. Go looking for Anti-Dude and before too long it's all you'll see. Then you'll get into a big old downer, and then the drug regimen can get out of hand, and instead of stopping at limber of mind you race right on to downright squishy.

Or maybe it's only me who has that problem. I dunno.

I'll have to get me a lane and work on that. 8)

A section for un-dudes, eh?  Seems to me though that what makes a dude is his acceptance of his Walter side and, growth from that. So that line might be blurry. Just like my fucking opinion man.
You're damned if you dude, you're damned if you don't.

The last one had me XD

I think if we start listing off anti-Dudes, we'll never catch a break. There's just too many for our little beach community. Plus, who wants to talk about a bunch of cleft assholes all day anyway.
Just my opinion.

P.S. Bruce Lee is my choice of badass. Partially because he wooped Chuck's ass in Way of the Dragon. He also had some rather Dudely philosophy:

"Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind."

Bruce Lee: Great Dude of History?
"Be excellent to each other"

He has some amazing quotes that stop and make you think.  Two that always stuck with me were

"Don't think, feel....it is like a finger pointing a way to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory"

and

"Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend."

I spent a whole lot of my adult life finding those "un-dude-ly" qualities in others. It is fucking exhausting, man!
Plus, it seems to be sort of on the borderline of un-dude-ly, itself.

Good point.
