So-- the 10 year anniversary of the Big Lebowski is coming up here and so I thought I'd float the question:  who's planning a big shin dig?

I'm going to be showing the movie in the den, have bowling (and maybe Rock Band) in the garage and caucasians, beer and snacks in the kitchen.   Sarsaparilla available on request, but only for those willing to do voice overs for the whole party.

Anyone else?   (Anyone gonna be in Wisconsin in September?)

Ahhhh, is this, what day is this?

Fuck, kornkob, that's a good question. There should be bowing parties all over the place for the tenth anniversary of the movie. I'll look around for some leads and report back if I find any.

Well, if one were to be all pedantic about it, the 10th anniversary of the movie is already past.  I think it was a March release.

However, they are releasing a 10th Anniversary version on September 8th--- using the date of the movie (as written by The Dude on the post dated check he wrote) as the anniversary.

BTW-- if you have not yet seen the package for the new release:

Gotta have it, but Brandt has to pay a hundred, or he can't watch.  ;D

Our local brewery does this outdoor cinema thing during the summer where they show cool movies.  They end it every year with The Big Lebowski.  That's where I'm gonna be.
At least I'm housebroken.
