    Woz: Apple made a stinking mess of Siri   



The Apple co-founder says that Siri has been dumbed down. He offers examples. He does like the new MacBook, though.

Yeah I'm always wanting to know what all the prime numbers greater than 87 are. If Siri can't answer that she's pretty much useless to me. Do I get to keep the kids?

Actually, for Zen meditation, it would be cool to meditate on prime numbers.  ohhhhhhhmmmmmm, ohhhhhhmmmmmmm......

I like to meditate on concepts that have a readily accessible meaning. Like going through the elements thinking of earth for solidity, water for flexibility, fire for dynamism etc' but for Zen having something intrinsically 'empty' is probably more appropriate. Sometimes people's minds manage to fill a thing as apparently neutral as a number with all sorts of meaning. I knew a dude who practised numerology who did this. Not really my cup of oat soda but each to their own.

The meaning is accessible but what might be lacking is an internally realisable quality. For example I might meditate on my throat chakra to realise the quality of better communication (something I probably need to do). But to meditate on something which is essentially external such as a chick or a burger tends to produce a feeling of lack, need and desire which acts as a distraction from developing one's inner abilities.
