Hello Dudes!

I've loved The Big Lebowski for years now and have often lurked around this here forum reading pearls of wisdom and I guess this is me getting around to introducing myself to you fine fellows.

I had been reading a lot about Zen and Taoism (and had a somewhat inconsistant sitting practice) for a good while before I saw the film and I was just struck by how the Dude reflected so much of the essence of what I had been studying but did it with a warm sense of humour - it made me realise my thinking had been somewhat uptight. Naturally, with that in mind it wasn't long before I stumbled across Dudeism and what can I say? I truly believe this is the religion for its time and place!

So anyway, after meaning to do so for so long I finally ordained a while back there and now I'm posting in this forum.

So hey Dudes, I dig your style and look forward to having some burgers, some beers, a few laughs...
