The Dudeism Forum

So I was thinking of new ways to be a slacker and I came up with this one; if you "like" something a dude has posted or a comment made, a FaceBook style "like" button would be cool if you're in your tub listening to whale songs or having a Caucasian and are being too laid back to write something. Instead of typing out a reply, you just hit "like" and go back to slacking. Doesn't have to be FaceBook based, just a Dude version of it on the forum here.

Well if it can be pulled off I don't see any reason for not adding it.

I do like the idea.... cos it is the way of the slacker.

But I do not like the idea because it discourages the thought and effort that goes into posting.

Even one line is better than "like"

Something on the lines of "that's cool dude, I concur!

I prefer at least some communication.... look at FB... idiots just pushing a button for anything they like.

On reflection.....not for me dude.

Gates was, at one time, going to sue over the word "command" as in the old DOS line of command.com (not a website), an executable file used in early DOS programs. These guys, like an asshole such as Zuckenberg (who stole the program code for FaceBook and had to pay some 65 million to the two brothers he stole it from) remind me of Daffy Duck shouting............

Couldn't agree more dude. The desire to protect what we have is really powerful and often goes nuts. When I came up with the idea of Dudeist Yoga even though it was an entirely derivative off-shoot of Dudeism I still had a brief Daffy Duck moment where I wanted to own the brand!

This is the Walter in all of us dude; it needs to be embraced and understood; the old adage of "dude, know thyself." Somewhere in the good book it says "the heart of man is deceitful above all things even deceiving the man himself." This dude, digital buddha, is for sure a sinner and glad he's out there, taken er' easy for all us sinners.
