Priest?  Maiden?  SLAYER?   Dude music from the '80's... hard to believe for children of the '60's, but this was our soul, our protest, and it didn't include the Grateful Dead... ;D

Motley Crue! Am I the only one who loved'em? Of course I was 10 years old and grew up in small town Iowa. Not really a good recipe for a heavy metal fan I guess. Different strokes right?

The Crue's first two albums were pretty good. 

I went to high school in a small town with limited access to music, so, yeah I started w/ mainstream stuff I could find in town.  Metal is everywhere, though.  Even in the early '80's.
At least I'm housebroken.
