Great gobs of gronski, you guys all drink together? HA! ;D

That's the scary thing.  You think someone's probably hundreds or miles away, and then it's revealed he's in the came county as you... He might have been the guy sitting opposite me in the office for all I know ;D

As for actually drinking together... Meekon, Klaus, Kiteboysi and I all need to brave the cold for that one.  And apparently, it's impossible to have fun in this country, so maybe we shouldn't bother :P

That gets me thinking that sometime in the near future there should be an international meeting of the dudes and dudeism. Hell, the UK would be a cool place to have such a historic meeting. International Dudeism! Pubs, oat sodas, raise a song, dudeist thinking, conversation and fellowship. Fuckin' eh.

That's cool, just don't come here to Hampshire, the home of miserable misanthropes  >:(

I'll take your word on that and defer to your best judgement as to where such a historic meeting would be best held, Rev.  ;) Either way, I'm game! A general assemble of dudes!

Nice choice! Empty the place out and then get us a lane! ;D

Bah, Ireland... :P

Shepherd Neame, the great Kentish brewery (est. 1698), home of Bishop's Finger and Spitfire.   That's the place to be!

Also, it's not too far from Sandwich (yes, where the sandwich was invented), in case anyone gets peckish :D

Well if we have to stick to the U.K. I suppose I could settle for Cornish Pasties, making fun of the Welsh, and a trip to the Doctor Who museum. :P

I've read through the whole thing. Don't get pissed off and patiently discuss. You dudes are real cool.
Meanwhile,I don't hate tiem. To the contrary,I kind of understand him, maybe he is in his hard days,or even hurt shortly earlier. And his heart has definitely been hurt. I know it because I can feel it.

Well, Lei, like I said, all country's have their ups and downs, the US, the UK and your own home-nation of China.  I think focusing on the good parts is great, but we should not ignore the bad points, and that goes both way.

I was merely offering the balanced view of the argument, because to lord the US and condemn the UK was quite a harsh way to go.  I like both countries and dispair at them in equal measures ;)  And as for China, I have a lot of respect and a lot of concerns much the same.  Although I can understand why you'd feel as you do, I hope you can see the good parts of your country as well, and see the failings of other countries.

There is no wonderland on this earth.  And if there is, it's certainly not the US or the UK ;D

ps, I don't hate Tiem.  I'm not given to hate.  There's too much hate around here (both the world and sometimes this forum).  Even the most heinous of paraquats on this planet don't merit unbridled hate.  They require sensible dislike.  Passion can be a good thing, unless it's twinned with hatred, IMDO :)

Personally I just think tiem was a little lost and expected this forum to be something it was not.

There's no hate for the guy here.

In fact I offered to not delete his account but he thought that would be best.

Well, this is interesting but imdo that guy was a flamethrower on purpose. Also as someone who has lived in the UK for 36 years his English seemed a bit strange. Oh well.

But probably I've lost something, what happened with thinkingdude? ust a bit curious.
