Whilst some might say there's nothing wrong with the mantra of "Om", I think something that helps me think is going into a contemplative trance to the mantra of "Ummmmm..."

Eventually the answer will always come, such as "Ummm... I'll have a pint of Old Rosie" or "Ummm... I think I left it on the desk" or "Ummm... isn't he already dead?"

...and to generate greater dudely compassion, we may recall The Dude's plight of ruglessness by chanting the mantra:  ...um, manly pad mayhem...

Umm... is this a, umm... what day is this?

haha! i get it! om mani padmay ommmmm. i like it.

I used to get all the Chefs to chant "Om mani fatman boing" all together to get the Yorkshire puddings to rise.

Of course it did.

It also used to freak the waitresses out when they would walk into the kitchen to find all the chefs chanting.
