Has died

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/world_now/2011/12/north-korea-says-supreme-leader-kim-jong-il-has-died.html

QuoteKim?s death was announced by state television from the North Korean capital, Pyongyang. No cause of death was reported, but Kim was believed to have suffered in recent years from diabetes and heart disease.

Good that he is dead. Perhaps maybe the North Korean people can live again.

This is some huge news. Where can the country be headed after this? It could go in so many directions the possibilities are amazing for its people. I hope the son who takes over is just not drunk with power and starts to care more about the country enough to set aside his personal pride.

I heard he is worse than his dad, but then again who really knows what goes on in North Korea?

Sounds like a real reactionary.

With no proper media outlet, it's really hard to tell what is real and what is not in North Korea.

I'm just glad that Kim Jong Il has passed knowing his family legacy is kaput!  He has three sons, the oldest is an "effeminate" who is ashamed of, the second is a capatalist-lover with outstanding criminal charges in Japan, and the third, Kim Jong Un, is a tubby know-nothing... and he's the one that was considered least embarassing :P  And so, the regime will pass into the hands of a supposed simpleton who will possibly have it stolen by someone more cunning and devious than a bag of soggy chips, and who knows where it will go from there.

Ho-hum.  Out of the frying pan... into the deep fat fryer, maybe :/

What a guy, heh...  ::)

Holy shit!...

7) In 1978, Kim Jong-il reportedly ordered the kidnapping of celebrated South Korean film-maker Shin Sang-ok and his actor wife Choi Eun-hee so that they could make a socialist version of Godzilla, his all-time favourite film.

Could imagine him making a Kim Jong-il version of The Big Lebowski!? BLASPHEMY!! ;D

Ah, such classics lines like:

"Actually, Dear Leader, Evil-Roundeyed-Warmongering-Corruptors is not the preferred nomclautre.  Anglo-American, please."

and

"They pee'd on the Dear Leader's nuclear program."

It's a laugh a minute :)
