Of Westerns I'm looking forward to the premier of "Hell On Wheels" Sunday night.
It looks like a good dark western. Hopefully it will hold a candle to the greatness that Deadwood was.

i just saw the commercial for this show a few minutes ago for the first time, and shouted out to hubby to jot down channel 77 amc sunday night! are there commericals on amc? is that the 'mad man' channel?
did you also love the remake of 3:10 to yuma? my favorite western.

Deadwood rocks, that is for sure!! Damn right!!

But, I ask you; is it not true, and let us not forget, Jeff's rendition of Rooster Cogburn in True Grit, did it not rock as awesome as Deadwood? Am I wrong, or just an asshole?

I did not care for the Dude as rooster in true grit...just like my opinion dude. Actually...didn't care for True Grit either...neither either! 8)

Well...see...it's not that either was better since I didn't care for the whole movie itself...wouldn't matter who player Rooster I would not have cared for it. Too much Shakespearefor my tastes...I don't know,....maybe Anthony Hopkins?
