Does Big Brother even care anymore?

Big Brother cares deeply.That's why he has all these cameras to keep us safe.
And all these spybots checking forums and message boards.

Ya think Big Brother might unwittingly hire dudes to watch all those screens, or is that strictly a nihilistic occupation?  I mean, people-watching is surely a dudeistic skill, if done with proper detachment.  Might it not then be resum? worthy material in these times of panopticonal deployment?  Where would one apply?  How would one train and receive credentials?

As purely an aside.I would recommend Terry Gilliams Brazil as a more scary version of 1984 because it was made during the Thatcher era and is probably even more plausible today.And if you can spot what's wrong on the 'Underground/Subway'then you truly are a zendude.
