This just grinds my gears.
Instead of people learning from the past it seems that we are more complacent.

Sorry if I'm being Un-Dude.

Shredding of documents by the Securities and Exchange commission. (Fist puppets)

Dude, you have to be very careful about paying attention to politics or economics, they are populated by paraquats and reactionaries. That's like Dude cryptonite.

BikerDude

Hey this ole Duder is a 60's type guy man.
It would have been the Seattle 8 if I was around.

Although it makes me Un-Dude at times I can't escape the feeling it's my responsibility to at least remain informed despite the loss of brain cells and occasional acid flashback.

Yeah, I am not one to talk really. I spend a lot of time at Moveon.org, and also I debate politics at the Colbert Nation everyday. As one hippie activist type dude to another, yeah man, just keep it limber. I find large quantities of chronic help.

Once I was standing a line at a local BBQ joint in the "bad" section of town.
Of course it had the best BBQ but that's another story. And I was the only white guy in sight and that's another another story.
But the point is that someone came in and asked the guy behind me how he was doing.
He said "Mad and Glad" like it was a badge.
That's my thought on politics. I might not be able to do a damn thing about it but as long as I'm one of the long line in waiting I feel like I'm at least doing something.

Keep your lamps trimmed and burning,
Keep your lamps trimmed and burning,
Keep your lamps trimmed and burning,
The time is drawing nigh.

Children, don't get weary,
Children, don't get weary,
Children, don't get weary,
'Til your work is done.

The time is drawing nigh.

And on that note I suggest you read some of the latest from our boy over at the stone.

From page 3....

Quote
Specifically, he wrote a letter to FINRA, another regulatory agency, to ask how many complaints it had referred to the SEC about SAC Capital, the hedge fund run by reptilian billionaire short-seller Stevie Cohen.

SAC has long been accused of a variety of improprieties, from insider trading to harassment. But no charge in recent Wall Street history is crazier than an episode involving a SAC executive named Ping Jiang, who was accused in 2006 of enacting a torturous hazing program. According to a civil lawsuit that was later dropped, Jiang allegedly forced a new trader named Andrew Tong to take female hormones, come to work wearing a dress and lipstick, have "foreign objects" inserted in his rectum, and allow Jiang to urinate in his mouth. (I'm not making this up.)

Next time you think yer job sucks, just think of how much worse it could be.
LMFAO!
