I've seen a few trailers for this flick now, and I'm getting a dudeist vibe from the main character "Ned".   Thought some other Dudes might like to see it too.

From the trailer -  "If I could love something as much as Ned loves everything, I wouldn't be such a bitch!"

From what is Dudeism trying to liberate us?Thinking that's too uptight.

To what state of being is Dudeism trying to bring us? Just taking it easy, man.

By what means does Dudeism attempt do this? Abiding.

Down the the ages, eh?

Another good book to potentially add to the Dudeist reading group, provided I can get enough dudes onto Goodreads.com and swapping their favourite Dudely tomes.

I finally got around to checking this out today.  It was good!  There wasn't much of a plot, that is to say, there didn't seem to be a huge resolution they were trying to tie up by the end.  It was more just a couple of weeks in the life of a VERY dudely dude, and some of the resulting conflicts that you get being such a dude.  And his dog, willie nelson.

Nice one.

See this is what I've often said about trying to be nice to everyone, and treating people as you would want to be treated yourself, there's always going to be some asshole that is only too ready to take advantage.

Not so far away from something close to home then.
