Well, no, wasn't trying to ruin anything. I dig what the dude was saying. But was just applying the yin to his yang. In other words people maintain happiness in lots of ways. Some dudes do the whole Eastern thing, while other dudes do the "fuck this shit, I'm going bowling" thing. It's all good, Caesar dude. It's all abiding, man. Each in his own way.

I thought that was so funny I sent it on to all my mates.

;D

Za Rinpoche on The Backdoor To Enlightenment.

Short form (three and a half minutes);

YouTube Version.

Long form (over an hour):

The Fora.TV version.

OK the first one makes a really interesting point but the long one is pretty long.

The main point is that you can remain unstruggling in a struggling world.

"Before enlightenment pay the bill, cook the meal. After enlightenment, pay the bill, cook the meal."

The world will always be struggling.

Life is struggling, live with it.

Cool. I actually belong to the Emaho Foundation, ZaChoeje Rinpoche's home here in the States. He is a pretty interesting fellow. We also have a resident teacher, Geshe Jampa, who is pretty amazing as well.

Rinpoche explains it a lot better in person than he does in his book.
