Sometimes you eat the McDs, sometimes the McDs eats you.  ;D

You're right about that. I never feel well after eating at McD's.

Have to admit, sometimes I do eat at McDonald's. Having said that...

What's REALLY In A Chicken McNugget?

Check out - http://www.ireallylikefood.com/728859898/whats-really-in-a-chicken-mcnugget/

;D I'd eat there a lot more if female forms like this hung out there....................

Quaker Dude

I almost never eat at MacDonald's, but it troubles me that there are people in government who think it's their business to go around "protecting us from ourselves" by banning unhealthy food.  It's the same rationale that fueled alcohol prohibition and continues to drive the War on Drugs, just in different, more socially palatable packaging.

FuckinA

Eating at Mc. Donalds, not eating at Mc. Donalds... I think it's a matter of opinion, man...
We do know the Dude likes burgers!
Stop thinking too uptight, just take it easy and abide.

Same goes for candy in the checkout isle. I mean they gotta feed the monkey but they KNOW what they are doing. Kids are an easy sale and they know if they put it right there a lot of parents will give in rather then deal with the kid melting down in the store. You can say no but then you are constantly saying no.
It's a sliding scale really. Most people really would be offended by advertising of cigarettes directly to kids. Does that go to candy and junk food? It's an individual's viewpoint. Bottom line is that it is a strategy on the part of the companies directed at kids. Personally whether that is legal or not I find it a bit unscrupulous.
It's a back handed way of going around the parents who should be making the decisions for the kids. Advertisers really couldn't care less if they are helping parents and apparently don't give a damn about the health of kids.

two weeks ago i went to SOL PLACE the center of the the so called spanish revolution, i spent sometime asking some 'nice' people there about a place called mcdonalds... they used to reply nicely and i used to go the other way they pointed, finally i ended eating at mcdonalds.  What the fuck does Vietnam have to do with anything!

I know, Dude! They nail me every time. Damn, I wish I had some peanut butter cups! Fortunately, my special lady is making chocolate chip cookies.

FuckinA

Well, that's true, we never see the dude eat one. Maybe he was too busy driving. Or maybe he didn't like 'em. Well dude, we just don't know!
Anyway, Gandhi, a fellow wiser than myself, once said that it's the responsibility from advertisers and newspapers (these days probably TV stations and websites alike) are both responsible for the advertisements they place. They may never be immoral or damaging in any way, for any creature, both in bodily and moral sense. Because if they are, both party's clearly prefer financial benefits to the well being of the individual and society as a whole...
And since he is a wiser fellow than myself, I think I'll stick to his point of view. But that's like, my opinion, man...

Caesar dude

Love is like a butterfly it goes where it pleases and it pleases where it goes. :)

A.B. Dude

I think paying attention to what goes into your body is far fuckin out. But if I'm hungover and I need something quick on a lunch break I'll grab a fry and a four piece.

But I try to keep an eye on how much fast food I eat, and in the summers I grow an organic garden. Nothing's as tasty as fresh peas and tomatoes straight from the garden...not even McDonald's. I think being Dude is about keeping the mind sharp via drug regiments and what have you, but also taking care of the body and soul.

But hey, that's just like, my opinion, man.
Tryin' to abide in a non-abiding world.

Abideist

well, being cool with McDonalds or corporations that inhibit bad decision making, altering your childrens mindset to accept that life style, and over saturating the food market with chemicals and slave wages for it's workers is a big no no in my book.

we perpetuate this demon when we are weak, you can get a hamburger that's bad ass and made right from someone who is doing it right, and want's to actually make it for you from lots of great burger joints. ones that don't clutter this already clusterfucked society with brand images and cartoon characters and sweet sally fuck all 'anything to keep you buying' marketing.

I don't know about England or the rest of the world, but in America these guys are everywhere. You can't drive a friggin mile, or rarely go a single day without being pointed in the direction of a mcdonalds.

FUCK McDonalds.   That's just like, my opinion man.
You're damned if you dude, you're damned if you don't.

I am a bon vivant I take responsibility for my life, what I eat, what I drink (from the point of view of actually enjoying myself), if I have children it's my responsibility where I take them to eat.

I agree with this 100 percent.  It's my life, you stay out of it and I promise not to get reactionary about my decisions.

I recently met a girl from France, over here on exchange.  She basically said "No wonder you guys have this rep, you have fast food EVERYWHERE, and it's AMAZING"
From what is Dudeism trying to liberate us?Thinking that's too uptight.

To what state of being is Dudeism trying to bring us? Just taking it easy, man.

By what means does Dudeism attempt do this? Abiding.
