Wavy Gravy--for obvious reasons.  ;D
Leon Redbone--who doesn't believe in breaking a sweat.
Satchel Paige--whose idea of exercise was getting up from the bench.

Welcome to the party, mang!

I agree with all three.

I would also add Tommy Chong.

Eyup, Dudes (trad. greeting from these here parts).  Just been turned on to this board via another.
Suggestions for Dudes?

Kinky Friedman - Writer, C&W singer both guest at Whitehouse and reviled by the Right, smoker outcast and bourbon imbiber on grand scale.  Good music - with critical yet amusing lyrics - and excellent series of fiction stories, with himself as a fictional private eye in very Dude situations!

Oddball - Understated hero of Kelly's Heroes, Oddball is the one hippy in history who could drive a Sherman tank while giving out positive vibes!  How dude is that?

Eyup, lad Dude, is it still grim oop North? Welcome. I second (or third) Kinky - have read a couple of his novels and used to have an album of his; not sure if it's still kicking about. Like the Oddball suggestion, too.

Definitely Oddball!

Kelly's Heroes...great flick, by the way.

See the thing I don't understand is are we like the Mormons who baptise  people into their religion after they have died (which is why they have such good records for finding your family tree).

Do we assign people as Dudeist without them knowing?

Oddball is the only one I know of, the rest I can't say. But as much as the dude was dude-like in TBL, Oddball was a dude for sure in Kelly's Heroes.

M5, not sure what you mean where you say "without them knowing?"

...M5, not sure what you mean where you say "without them knowing?"

I was wondering if we should actually ask them if they want to take on the title?

I know it's a bit evangelical (which I've stood against before).

That's the real ones I mean.

Or are we only presenting them as examples?
