Zen has archery...Dudeism has bowling.  Both serve to get to the same goal.  8)

Pretty much.  Mark it 8.

I'll get us some oat sodas.
At least I'm housebroken.

Chrispy

I went bowling twice recently and shocked myself at how crap I was...save a few lucky shots.  I have made a resolution to try and roll more often and resolve this travesty!

From what is Dudeism trying to liberate us?Thinking that's too uptight.

To what state of being is Dudeism trying to bring us? Just taking it easy, man.

By what means does Dudeism attempt do this? Abiding.

That just seems like cheating

I was real happy to see they Finally got around to discussing wahsam since I have been after them for the last 6 months or so to discuss them.

I have been trying to get the word out about WAHSAM.  They are trying to keep these things a secret so you, or someone you know may be bowling on WAHSAM and not even know it!

Fucking eh, check out......................

Consequently, simple everyday pleasures ......like bowling, hanging out with friends and family are seen as far preferable to the accumulation of wealth and the liberal spending of money as a means to achieve happiness and spiritual fulfillment. The Latter-Day Dude launched its official publication, The Dudespaper, in the fall of 2008. A Dudeist holy book, The Tao Dude Ching went online in July 2009. It is a reinterpretation of the Tao Te Ching.

Somebody on youtube made the comment that while the USBC doesn't have a rule against them, it doesn't support them either. I think that's telling. They recognize that it's not ideal, but they don't want to anger the lane owners.

That was my comment. I have two YouTube channels.
As soon as I found out about the WAHSAMs I wrote the USBC. I get the feeling they would like to do something...but cannot.

Talk about Bowling...not only did our team make the semis dudes...but we won the Championship. ;D
We took first place for the second half and had a roll-off last night for the league Championship...needed to win 2 out of 3 games bowled over 3 sets of alleys.
Had a 224 the first game, but could only manage a 172 the second game but it was enough to help my team take the first two games by a few pins and send the other team home early.
I am happy to win and all, but I am more happy I did not choke.
Now I got a senior pro-am on the 21st where I'll be bowling with Wayne Webb, Walter Ray Williams Jr, Tom Baker, Bob Chamberlain and the Great Johnny Petraglia.
Just hoping I don't throw a gutter dudes! 8)
