Let us not forget Buddha Dude (don't mean me). Who could be more dudeish than Buddha? I submit The Buddha as a front runner for a dude in history.

I will submit Sir Isaac Newton as a worthy fucking dude.

Newton was brilliant, and changed the way we see the world. He lived off of hie enormous brain, and was an alchemist. All dude worthy in my book. The only drawback- he died a virgin and was mega religious- I don't think he drank, so that's a big hump to overcome. On the other hand, he'd be the squirrly guy on the bowling team who'd beg to keep score, and the world needs dudes like that. He'd probably come up with some wicked bowling moves as well...
