I find myself staring down my end of school finals, they're looming over me, I'm not worried about them per say but i feel them eating away at my subconscious and it effecting me, I'm looking for some method to chill out or get my shit together, cause lately no one is showing up for class everyone has given up on themselves and I find myself in a very unpleasant learning environment, I have every reason to succeed but, my class mates lack of enthusiasm is really getting me down, any advice out there to help lift a dudes spirits?

Yeah man, just enjoy the ride. When I tell you, school finals may seem huge but in the long run, they aren't the be all , end all, would you believe me?
LIfe is a game; a ride ...or look up don Miguel Ruiz, the Four Agreements;
1) be impeccable with your word (outer and inner talk)
2) Don't take anything personally
3) Don't make assumptions
4) always do your best

You need advice?

1.  Stop wasting time putting down the country of England, re: "Top Ten Stupid Questions" thread.  You sound like a first class tool.  It's not too late, maybe you could appologise.

2.  Everything that Whiteheart said is right on.

3.  The last month of the secondary educational calendar will always be unrewarding.  If your classmates are skipping class or not paying attention, it's not your problem.  Throughout your life, you'll need to rely on yourself for motivation, not your environment.  If you look on your own, you can find something to get you jazzed again about learning.

4.  If you are bummed, your teacher is x10.  Find a way to give your teacher a thank you.  Drop a note in their mailbox, ask them an insightful question after class cuts out, or offer to help them somehow.

Shut the fuck up. You won't even know most of those fucks in the league office in another 10 -15 years. Fuck it man, like Lenin said, you look to who benefits, Uh Uh Uh, you, you fuckin' moron. Pay the fuck attention, you might learn something, anything. Get over it. And Dude, the correct nomenclature is assessment of acquired knowledge, not finals.

Oh yes, Nancy, I had quite a shocking experience in Nam because  we could take our anger out on the entire country, eyeball to eyeball, until they kicked our ass because we just stopped showing up and it ate away at our conscience. So hey, anytime you want any additional advice, or in the neighborhood, call me, at Mr. Lebowski's office. It's Brandt

It wasn't too long ago I was in that kind of situation. If your situation is anything like mine was your classmates that have "given up on themselves" probably fall into two groups: those that just don't care and are spending their class time getting high and just hanging out, and those that are running around in circles freaking out because they think they're gonna fail but are too freaked out to do anything about it.

If you're feeling pretty good about your own grasp of the stuff then you're only real issue is improving your environment, right? Try and get a few of the circle runners together and help them out if you can. Try to show them that the sky isn't falling and everything's not fucked. I've found that a real good way to study is to try explaining it to someone else, so you'll be helping out yourself at the same time.

When the circle runners start bringing you down hang out with a couple of the people that don't really care. Y'know, you gotta keep the mind limber. Skipping a few classes here and there when you're getting stressed out will help you get your mind straight again and make the most of the time you do spend learning/studying. In my experience it doesn't matter how much you study, you're going to do poorly if you go into the exams all jittery and burned out. It's all about balance man. Take the middle way and maybe those on the extremes will be drawn to your dudeness.
I don't get it. How do I sign this? Is there a special pen?

Hey thanks I really appreciate it, I've actually take a few of my last exams to find that they weren't all that intimidating, its actually boosted my confidence, and now its more about getting over and done with, again thank you for the support it means a lot to me

Could be a bit late on this one...but I've heard that a good bit of the ole' self-appreciation before taking your exam can reduce stress levels and get back some much needed motivation.  Heard it...honest.
