                        Yin Yang, Donny Darko (2001)

"Oh, man. My thinking about this case has become very uptight."

Dudes! Fellow Brothers Shamus! The two previous posts,

1. A Midrash of the Gospel of John
    http://dudeism.com/smf/under-the-influences/a-midrash-of-the-gospel-of-john/ (http://dudeism.com/smf/under-the-influences/a-midrash-of-the-gospel-of-john/)

2. The Big Lebowski, the Large Hadron Collider of the Dharma

reference two embedded stories that swirl around each other like yin and yang. Maybe man, that's just the Half & Half of it. Well, Donnie Christ and Bunny Buddha! [EDIT: Reference to the Dude's 'Johnson' was moved to post "Midrash of the Gospel of John"]

Leb is the Hebrew word for "heart", -owski the Polish suffix "place of." So, maybe "the place of the big heart?" That's just where TBL is working itself into, my big fuckin' heart!

Dudes, just how many yin yang symbols (tight & loose) actually appear in The Big Lebowski?  Check out location 43:32 for a bodacious yin yang.

VISIT: The Dude, "It might not be just a simple . . . you know?"
