Title: The strumpet's cash machine
Post by: DigitalBuddha on October 28, 2010, 01:31:54 AM
When Charlie Sheen was being sentenced for using a prostitute, the judge asked him why a man like him would have to pay for sex; Sheen reportedly replied...

I don't pay them for sex. I pay them to leave.

 8) Mrs. Cakebelly heard this story on the radio (during her commute home) - she was inspired to text (me): "Do you want to be my manwhore?" I thought I already was. If I kept up with all this celebrity stuff I guess I would have ventured a slightly snappier response: "Well it depends how much you are going to pay me to leave?"

Ah 20/20 hindsight, how amusing we could have been, if only.

Most of the beer, IMHO, brewed in America resembles a bad imitation of horse piss. But to recommend one I think you might dig, try an oat soda from Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing CO. Check out http://leinie.com

fucking-a right!

although, in all fairness, when it's 118 out, beer-flavored water (read: coors light, or the equivalent thereof) is rather refreshing... i used to work right up the street from a micro-brewery/restaurant, and it was heaven! ironically, i'm back in that area, but alas, the brewery is no more.  :(

the best part about living in/near l.a. is that a shandy tastes mighty fine all year round!

thank you for the welcome digbud-- i'll just amble over to the bar and see if there's any lemonade...  8)

Have to say you are right, when in need of anything to refresh, any beer will do!

Some of the best oat sodas, though having tried only a small percent of them, is German oat sodas. Fucking nazis, nothing ever changes! Well, at least their beer is an ethos.  ;D

I just recently went to wisconsin, and all i wanted to do was go on some cheese and beer tours, but my host (I think) deliberately kept me from touring Leinenkugels.

I personally think some of american best brewerys are

Rahr & Sons (ftworth texas)

Weeping Radish (Roanoak Virginia?)

McGuires Pub (Resaurant brewery in Pensacola FL)

Hilton Head Brewing ( Hilton Head, NC)

These guys don't make piss beer.  Budweiser, Coors, Bush, etc...all piss beer. But if thats what you have, you'll drink it, and you'll like it.

Dude, I would say when you need a beer, you need a beer. Nothing else will do.

Some of the best oat sodas I have downed in many a moon was had at this very dude like hang out in Alexandria, VA. Was there a few weeks ago seeing family.

We headed out for a night of dude like debauchery and ended up in this, ah, family restaurant, and I can't even remember what I drank, but what I did drink was fucking awesome (I know my rights, man!).............
