While smoking the occasional J I like to sit back and watch cartoons that remind me of the days when I was at my dudeliest. SO, during one Ren and Stimpy episode, Stimpy realizes he has already wasted eight of his nine lives (he's a cat) and after the usual phases of denial, anger and whatever the other things are, he comes to accept his mortality and says:
"Life is like a bowling alley: Oh, you make some strikes...if you're lucky a couple of spares...and nobody knows how to keep score...but in the end, ya gotta rent ill-fitting smelly shoes that squeak."
