I know - same of you will say: pagan black metal? That's rather undude. And in many cases I would say the same. But this track, for some reason, feels to me like some metal whale song  :) The metal sound is so monotonous that it becomes smooth and soothing.

My opinion is that very little music is actually undude. I've heard a few songs that were rather violent and called for bad things, so maybe they are. But the way I see it is if it moves someone, makes someone happy, or generally pleases someone, it's dude to that person. Even the Eagles.  :D

It's the trouble when you listen to a lot of classical crossovers and you start to hear a full orchestral score in that metal shit :P Something changes in your brain. Not any kind of metal though. Some of it makes me tired in five minutes and definitely messes with my breathing and zen.

And something that I sing to myself when I want to feel warmer and safer (old crush on Ludwig van as an independent and a bit naive but sincere spirit)

I guess it all comes down to personal taste. I don't mind when styles mix it up. I was a percussionist and played for orchestral works, rock, metal, and others. We'd mix almost anything together. We had an opera singer who'd sing her pieces to the metal band we knew. One rapped to a Händel piece (I can't remember the title). I wish we had recorded those!

Sounds really interesting. I think such experiments can make you hear something totally unexpected in things you think you've heard so many times before, there's nothing to wonder about.
